On April 18, members of our Club joined a meaningful fundraising night walk organized with Scouts Island Region at Tai Tam Reservoir. President David, Past Presidents Grace, WT, Dora, Lily, Mark and Jason, together with around two dozen participants from our Rotary family, took part in this special evening activity.
The night walk offered a unique opportunity to learn about nature and the importance of conservation. Participants were introduced to the principles of “leave no trace,” reinforcing the responsibility we all share in protecting our environment. Interactors from King’s College and St. Clare’s Girls’ School, as well as Rotaractors from the Rotaract Club of HKU Lap Chee College International, joined the event, adding youthful energy and enthusiasm to the experience.
Assistant Governor Wilson also participated in support of the initiative, further highlighting the collaborative spirit of the Rotary community. Surrounded by the calm and beauty of Tai Tam Reservoir at night, the event was both educational and inspiring, strengthening bonds across generations while promoting environmental stewardship.
